Kibos Distillers Ltd is committed to providing quality Extra Neutral Alcohol and related by-products i.e. Technical alcohol, sanitizer and CO2 that consistently meet the customers’ requirements.

In pursuit of this commitment, the organization shall implement a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 and comply with the applicable regulatory and statutory requirements to ensure continual improvement of the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015.

The Company’s Top Management has set quality objectives at the relevant functional levels and shall convene annually to review the established Quality objectives; and this policy to ensure continual improvement.

Food Safety Policy

Kibos Distillers Limited is committed to production of safe and high quality Extra Neutral Alcohol and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) for use as a raw material and ingredient in the Food and Beverage Industries. Our Food Safety Management System has incorporated Interactive Communication, System Management, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles, Prerequisite programmes and FSSC requirements version 6, which ensure that our food products fulfil and exceed consumer food safety expectations through:

  • The establishment and  maintenance of Food safety  management systems in accordance with the International Standards ISO 22000:2018 and ISO/TS 22002-1: 2009 and incorporates the FSSC 22000 version 6 Additional Requirements.
  • Identification, evaluation, prevention, reduction and elimination of potential food safety hazards.
  • Implementation and sustenance of effective hygienic conditions,
  • Continuous food safety training and policy education for our internal personnel and suppliers,
  • Compliance to legal & statutory regulations and customer requirements which include Kenya standard EAS 144: 2014 Neutral spirit – Specification and Commodity Specification for Carbon Dioxide, publication G-6.2, Compressed Gas Association (CGA) www.cganet.comand continual improvement of our food safety management systems.
  • Reviewing the system periodically for continual improvement and whenever significant changes occur.
  • Internal and external communication of this policy to all interested
  • The Food Safety Policy is supported by measurable objectives and shall be reviewed annually by process owners and Top Management.
